You Cannot Serve Two Masters

After hearing a missionary describe the Shantung Revival and what God had done through the lives of a group of committed Christians, my life was changed forever.

The Christian life the missionaries learned to live was a life I had never experienced and had never heard anything about.

At twenty-five, I had been voted Layman of the Year for 41 churches.   This was not recognition of my walk with the Lord but because I could get things done.

Hearing what God will do with a man committed to His will revealed to me that my life was committed to my success, fame, and fortune.   This was a humbling but rewarding revelation.

Recognizing that God wanted me to love Him and daily live for him, gave my life new purpose and direction and began a life of trying to always be in the center of His will.

My Life-Changing Lesson:

I cannot serve two masters for I will either love the one or hate the other.
